DORCHESTER COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The Dorchester County Coroner's Office says a death row inmate found dead in his cell Tuesday morning committed suicide.

Coroner Chris Nisbet said Kenneth Justus, a death row inmate at Lieber Correctional Institution, used a razor blade to take his own life.  Nisbet said Justus still had the blade in his hand when guards found him.

Justus was serving life for a double murder in Oconee County and was put on death row in 2005 for stabbing another inmate to death.
