No injuries reported after lightning strikes plane bound for Charleston

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - JetBlue officials say there were no injuries after lightning struck a plane that eventually landed safely at the Charleston International Airport.

According to JetBlue, Flight 1670 from Charleston to Boston was delayed after the incoming aircraft experienced a lightning strike.

Officials say the craft landed safely at Charleston airport and there were no injuries reported.

Passengers bound for Boston boarded a new plane and arrived at their destination Tuesday night.
