NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The North Charleston Police Department is on the lookout for two men who demanded to be let in a home and ransacked two rooms at the residence.
Around 11 a.m., officers responded to a home on Jenkins Avenue in reference to a robbery.
The victim said that she was babysitting when she heard a knock at the back door. According to the victim, two men dressed in all black were at the door and asked the victim for a subject by name.
Police say the victim told the suspects that the person did not live there. A police report states one of the suspects then took out a gun and demanded to be let it.
According to investigators, the victim opened the door, and the suspects ransacked two rooms and took off.
North Charleston High and Elementary School were placed on lockdown as a precaution. The lockdown lasted 30 minutes.
Police are continuing the investigation.
