Suspect caught on tape attempting to cash in stolen lottery ticket

COLLETON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

Authorities are looking for a suspect who was caught on video attempting to cash in a stolen lottery scratch ticket in Walterboro.

Officials with the Walterboro Public Safety Department say a man went to the EZ Shop on Bells Highway on May 7 to cash in the stolen ticket.

According to investigators, the ticket was stolen from the Sunoco gas station on May 3, when someone threw a brick into the glass door, got inside and stole lottery tickets.
