911 lines back up in Georgetown Co.

The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office says service to all incoming lines to the 911 call center have been restored just hours after an outage.

Sheriff's office spokesperson Carrie Cuthbertson said the outage was fixed around 9:30 a.m., just a few hours after the outage.  Cuthbertson said their provider, Frontier Communications, had an issue which affected other counties as well.

Clarendon, Lee, Laurens, and Horry counties were also affected.\
