Four people who were arrested in Goose Creek for drug possession faced a bond court judge Saturday morning according to deputies.
Agents with Berkeley County Sheriff's Office Drug Enforcement Unit, along with Goose Creek Police and the Charleston County Sheriff's Office executed the search warrants at two homes on Rutt Lane in Goose Creek after conducting an undercover drug sting.
Deputies seized a large amount of cocaine, crack, marijuana and 11 marijuana plants at two residences on Rutt Lane just off Howe Hall Road Friday afternoon.
Authorities arrested Ricky Rutledge and Larry Donell Williams and charged them with trafficking cocaine; possession with intent to distribute marijuana, manufacturing marijuana and two counts of distribution near a school. Williams's bond was set at $85,000 and the judge set Rutledge's bond at $55,000.
Deputies also arrested Priscilla R. Baylock and Darvis A. Baylock at a second home on Rutt Lane and were charged with trafficking cocaine, distribution near a school, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, possession of a stolen firearm and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
Bond was set at $66,000 for Priscilla and $60,620 for Baylock.
Berkeley County Sheriff Wayne DeWitt said, "We had multiple reports that this area was heavily drug infested. Our narcotics team set its sights on this area of the county and following several undercover buys by agents, acted swiftly to carry out the operation that resulted in the arrests and seizure of drugs and weapons on Friday afternoon."
The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office is also looking for 51-year-old Marcus McBride who they say have four outstanding warrants and 21-year-old James Reese who has two outstanding warrants.
