BEAUFORT, S.C. (AP) - Newly-elected U.S. Rep. Mark Sanford is spending some time in Beaufort.
The Republican is speaking Monday at a breakfast sponsored by the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce. Organizers say Sanford will also take questions from the audience.
Later in the day, Sanford is holding "neighborhood office hours" at a Piggly Wiggly on Hilton Head Island. He's also scheduled to attend a meeting of the Hilton Head Island First Monday Club.
Sanford served two terms as governor before being elected last month to the 1st District seat he held for three terms in the 1990s.
