Seven big-screen TVs stolen from West Ashley apartment complex

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston police are investigating after seven big-screen televisions were reported stolen from a West Ashley apartment complex club house earlier this week.

According to an incident report, officers were called out to Bees Ferry Apartments located at 2020 Proximity Drive on Monday around 8:15 a.m.

A foreman on site told police seven televisions, ranging in size from 32-inches to 50-inches, were removed from their wall mounts at the complex's club house/rental office building overnight.

The seven televisions are reported to be worth roughly $8,000.

Police say one of the building's windows was open when the foreman arrived Monday morning. The foreman said all windows and doors were locked the previous evening.

No damage was found on any other the building's windows or doors, officers say.

The report states one of the security cameras on site appeared to have tape over it during the robbery.
