COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Triple murder suspect Jeffrey Eady waived the right to appear at his first bond hearing in Clarendon County Tuesday evening.
The 31-year-old Eady was scheduled to appear in bond court on a credit card fraud charge on Monday evening, but that hearing was postponed after Clarendon County Sheriff Randy Garrett said Eady tried to commit suicide by slitting one of his wrists.
Eady stands accused in the killings of 77-year-old Sadie Brown, 65-year-old Maybell White, and 37-year-old Crystal Johnson.
Eady fled the Palmetto State and was eventually located in Florida. Law enforcement officials arrested him following a police chase that ended in a crash.
