Drugs and guns found in N. Charleston home; 5 arrested

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

North Charleston police say they arrested five suspects Wednesday morning after finding nearly 80 grams of drugs and several guns in a home on Victory Avenue.

Police say they performed a search warrant at 2129 Victory Avenue around 9 a.m. as part of an ongoing drug investigation.

Once inside the home, officers found 68.3 grams of cocaine base, one gram of cocaine, and nine grams of marijuana. They also found items used to package and manufacture the drugs, and several handguns, a report states.

Officers say one of the guns, a 9mm Smith and Wesson, was reported stolen in Summerville.

Antonio Law, 32, Trevis Eady, 35, Lanarol Huger, 29, Ebonee Middleton, 20, and Reginald Hamilton, 26 were each arrested at the home. All suspects were charged with trafficking cocaine base, manufacturing cocaine base, possession of a firearm during commission of a violent crime, and possession of a stolen firearm.

They are being held at the Charleston County Detention Center.
