BEAUFORT COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The National Weather Service in Charleston says a tornado warning for portions of Beaufort County has expired.
At 9:45 p.m., radar indicated that a thunderstorm that prompted the warning weakened and was no longer capable of producing tornadoes or other severe weather.
Although the tornado warning has expired, weak rotation continues in the storm. If the storm restrengthens another tornado warning may be issued.
Some locations in the warning included Parris Island, Port Royal, Ladys Island and Shell Point.
