Summerville tearoom offering brunch for info on burglary

SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) -

A Summerville tearoom is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who they say broke in and stole two bottles of alcohol, and they are offering free brunch for anyone with information that leads to an arrest.

According to an incident report, a man forced his way into This Whole House on May 27 around 2:30 a.m. Once inside, the suspect broke into a freezer and stole two bottles of alcohol.

The suspect is seen on a surveillance camera walking onto a porch and immediately covering his face as he walks towards the freezer. The freezer is out of view of the camera.

Police describe the suspect as a white male between 20 and 30 years old. He was wearing a blue T-shirt, blue jean shorts, a baseball hat and flip flops at the time of the burglary.

This Whole House is offering a certificate for a free Sunday brunch buffet for up to four people, a $75 value, for anyone with information that leads to an arrest, according to the tearoom's Facebook page.
