Man robbed at gunpoint while walking downtown

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston police say they are searching for two suspects who robbed a man at gunpoint early Friday morning in downtown Charleston.

According to an incident report, the armed robbery took place around 12:30 a.m. in the area of 47 Queen Street.

The victim told police two suspects walked out up to him. One of the suspects pulled out a gun and said, "give me everything."

After handing over his wallet, police say the second suspect snatched the victim's cell phone. The two suspects then ran off towards Meeting Street.

The victim was not injured during the robbery, a report states.
