LADSON, SC (WCSC) - The second suspect wanted for a home invasion and shooting in Ladson which happened in early May was arrested last weekend, authorities say.
Berkeley County sheriff's deputies arrested 19-year-old Anson Bing Saturday in Goose Creek after responding to a disturbance. Deputies then checked Bing's criminal history and saw he was wanted for crimes in Charleston County.
He was taken to the Charleston County Detention Center and Charleston County sheriff's deputies charged him with first-degree burglary, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, attempted murder, and violating probation.
The Charleston County Sheriff's Office says Bing and 21-year-old Tyrone Marquis Butler invaded a home in the 3000 block of Kirkwall Drive via the garage door and fired shots on May 10. Both the homeowner and another man at the residence were shot during the incident.
Bing is being held in the Charleston County Detention Center on a $670,000 bond.
Butler turned himself into authorities is late May and was charged with first-degree burglary, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, attempted murder, and filing a false police report.
He remained behind bars at the Charleston County Detention Center under a $660,000 bond.
