GEORGETOWN, SC (WCSC) -

Georgetown police say they have arrested a 22-year-old suspect who shot at two victims with a sawed-off shotgun Friday afternoon.

Eric Lamar Dozier of Georgetown has been arrested and charged with two counts of assault and battery with intent to kill, possession of a sawed-off shotgun, and resisting arrest.

According to police, the two victims were shot at in the 100 block of Orange Street. One of the victims received minor injuries, but medical attention was not required.

Police say Dozier was found in the 900 block of Front Street and was arrested on site. The sawed-off shotgun was found in his vehicle.

Investigators say they are working to figure out why the victims were fired at.

Dozier is being held at the Georgetown County Detention Center. He will have a bond hearing Saturday.
