Deputies searching for suspects following Berkeley Co. car chase

Posted: Updated:
BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

Investigators are looking for two people who authorities say jumped out of a car during a chase in Berkeley County.

The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office says authorities attempted to stop the suspect's vehicle for a traffic violation in Moncks Corner, but the vehicle did not stop.

When the responding deputy ran the tag number, investigators say the vehicle came back as stolen out of Boston.

The chase ended at Spring Plains Road and Sharper Drive off Highway 6 where the vehicle wrecked.

The two people inside the vehicle then ran on foot.
