Police arrest two more suspects in West Ashley murder

WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) -

The Charleston Police Department has arrested two more suspects in connection with a deadly shooting in West Ashley that took the life of a teenager outside an apartment complex.

Investigators charged 25-year-old William Luck and 23-year-old Christopher Taliaferro with murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.

Authorities also arrested 22-year-old Deontre Pierce on June 22. Pierce was also charged with murder. 

The shooting happened on June 14 at the Ashley Oaks Apartments where police found the victim, 18-year-old Juwan Alexander Reid, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.

Reid died several days after the shooting.
