COLLETON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

The Colleton County Sheriff's Office arrested a man and woman over the weekend after finding an active meth lab in a Round-O home.

According to Ted Stanfield, sheriff's office spokesman, deputies executed a search warrant at 3717 Cannon Road and found a moderate-sized "one-pot" active meth lab operation.

Stanfield said deputies seized two active "one-pots," methamphetamine, and a cache of chemicals, bi-product, and lab equipment.

Colleton County Fire and Rescue responded to decontaminate two suspects, 35-year-old Stacy Lynn Gibson, of Colleton County, and 44-year-old Frank Smith Jr., of Ridgeville, before they were arrested and taken to the Colleton County Detention Center.

Both suspects were charged with possession of methamphetamines and possession with intent to distribute, sell, purchase, or manufacture crack cocaine.
