CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - We've been called the friendliest city in the nation before, considered one of the worlds top travel destinations and even made a national list for the best looking population.
But Charleston's latest distinction is likely to have some people turning up their noses.
Travel and Leisure magazine ranked us number 10 on its list of "snobbiest cities."
It was compiled based on reputation for snobbish residents, in addition to high-end shopping and cultural offerings like classical music and theater.
San Francisco, New York and Boston took the top three spots on the list.
