Folly Beach to celebrate reopening of county park

FOLLY BEACH, SC (WCSC) -

Folly Beach will celebrate the reopening of their county park for the first time in two years on Wednesday morning.

Gates to the park open at 9 a.m., and a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. in the Pelican Watch Shelter.

The park has been closed since Hurricane Irene eroded much of the beach in August 2011.

We'll be streaming the ceremony live on Live5News.com (click here) and on our Live 5 News app.
