Cops: 3 cars damaged after club fight leads to shooting

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A shooting outside a North Charleston club resulted in three vehicles being hit by stray bullets, according to North Charleston police.

Police say the shooting took place just before 2 a.m. outside Blue Magic on Ashley Phosphate Road.

According to a witness, a fight broke out between several people inside the club and then continued out in the parking lot. Gunshots were heard shortly after.

Police say three vehicles that were hit by stray bullets returned to the scene after the shooting. No injuries were reported.

The report states numerous shell casings were found on the scene.

Police say it does not appear this shooting is related to the shooting that took place near Stall Road around the same time.

The shooting is under investigation.
