CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston police say a 29-year-old downtown man is behind bars after a search warrant uncovered a cocaine manufacturing operation in his home.
Desmon Lamar Grant of 88 Romney Street has been charged with trafficking cocaine, trafficking cocaine base, and manufacturing cocaine base.
Police say Grant was arrested Wednesday after the Charleston Police Department Special Investigations Unit found 53 grams of cocaine, 11 grams of cocaine base, and $3,300 in cash at his home.
Grant is being held at the Charleston County Detention Center.
The investigation is ongoing.
