Kittenpalooza takes over Northwoods Mall

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Pet Helpers is holding the largest kitten bash of the summer Saturday at Northwoods Mall.

Kittenpalooza will be held at Dilliard's Court in the mall from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is offering the public a chance to take home a kitten that is in need of a family for a reduced price of $25.

All kittens adopted from Pet Helpers come spay or neutered, vaccinated, tested, treated and microchipped.

The Lowcountry's "Forever Shelter" has seen its kitten numbers climb to crazy heights, and all these fur balls need a home.

"Kittenpalooza is a fun event addressing a serious problem," said Pet Helpers Executive Director Kevin Ryan in a statement. "Our community has experienced an unprecedented number of kittens this year."

Kittenpalooza will also feature a kitten carousel and ferris wheel. The public will also get the chance to spin the Wheel of Furrtune for a variety of prizes.

"By adopting a kitten from Pet Helpers you can find your new best friend as well as make room for us to save even more lives," said Ryan.
