Sheriff releases video of James Island auto break-in suspect

The Charleston County Sheriff's Office has released a video of a man wanted for a breaking into a truck on James Island twice last month.

According to the sheriff's office, the suspect first stole something from the unlocked truck parked outside 2145 Fort Pemberton Drive on June 2.  Deputies said he stole $350 on that occasion.

He also stole a spare key to the truck, which he tried to use during a subsequent break-in on June 28.  However, nothing was taken during the incident.

The suspect appears to be a white male in his 20s or 30s, wearing a white hat and a bandanna partially covering his face.  He stands about 5'10" and weighs about 170 pounds, investigators estimate.
