GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - Goose Creek police are searching for a woman who they say pawned an iPad using another woman's identity in order to avoid police detection.
Teresa Dean Crawford, 39, is wanted for obtaining money by false pretenses with property crime enhancement and identity Fraud.
Police say Crawford pawned her daughter's Apple iPad for $200 at Money Man Pawn in Goose Creek on July 6. When she made he transaction, Crawford used another woman's driver's license.
It is unclear how Crawford obtained the victim's driver's license.
Because Crawford used another person's identify, police say she obtained the money under false pretenses by committing identify fraud.
An incident report states Crawford used the victim's driver's license to avoid being detected by law enforcement.
Crawford's last known address is 1424 Dennis Blvd., Moncks Corner. She has a tattoo on the right side of her neck that says "David" and a tattoo on her right upper arm that says "RIP".
