North Charleston police are looking for 24-year-old Davon Joseph Smith.
Smith is wanted on charges of attempted murder, intimidation of a witness and possession of a firearm during a violent crime.
Police say on July 1, 2013, Smith confronted a man who officers say refused to drop armed robbery charges against Smith's cousin.
Smith allegedly raised his shirt, showed a gun in his waistband and then fired a shot when the victim ran away.
The victim was not hit, and Smith hasn't been seen since.
Smith stands 5'9" and weighs about 200 pounds.
His last known address was on Highway 41 in Mt. Pleasant.
Police say he is known to hang out on Leslie Street and Nelson Street in North Charleston.
