Snee Farm Leads After Day 1 Of CCAA City Meet


Snee Farm started off day 1 of the Coastal Carolina Aquatic Association City Swim Meet strong building a 79 point lead over 2nd place Daniel Island in the 3 day competition. 

Noah Davey was one of the swimmers that helped Snee Farm get off to a hot start by winning the 9-10 year old boys breaststroke competition. 

Northbridge Terrace's Brady Newton broke the oldest CCAA record according to the organization's Twitter feed winning the 7-8 year old boys back stroke with a time of 20.09. 

Two time defending champions Coosaw Creek are in 3rd place after day 1. They ended Snee Farm's 22 year run of winning the event back in 2011. 

The City Swim Meet will continue at the Jewish Community Center in West Ashley Monday evening.
