NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

Law enforcement has arrested 14 suspects this week during two undercover prostitution stings in North Charleston.

Charleston County Sheriff's Office Vice unit busted four men during a sting on Thursday in the area of North Forest Drive in North Charleston. Sebastian Leon, John Nettles, and Fred Felder were each charged with soliciting prostitution.

The North Charleston Police Department's S.P.E.E.D. team performed a prostitution pick-up operation at the Remount Village Shopping Center located at 1357 Remount Road on Wednesday.

The following men were arrested and charged with solicitation of prostitution: Doward Hartzog, Arcainan Gamble, Thomas Vasquez, Kevin Peagler, Thomas Driggers, Moises Romualdo-Almos, Wendill Seabrook, Thomas Matthews, Kenneth Robinson, and Brandon Alday.

The North Charleston sting happened on Remount Road, an area well known for prostitution activity.

"These ones that are soliciting seem to know this area is kind of high profile for this type of thing, and they keep coming in," said Charleston Farms neighborhood president Bill Ellis.

"Let's face it, a prostitute doesn't get too much time or too much of a fine and they're back out on the street in very short order. It's just a carousel of business," Ellis said.

Additionally, Dawn Villalabo was charged with disorderly conduct in connection with the Remount Road operation.

All suspects received a $470 fine.
