Duo wanted for threatening to kill couple, baby girl during armed robbery

GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) -

Investigators are on the lookout for two men who robbed an auto repair shop and threatened to kill a couple and a baby girl if the victims did not reveal the location of money at the business.

On Monday night, the Goose Creek Police Department responded to PA Auto Repair on 125 Redbank Road in reference to an armed robbery.

The owner of the business said it all started when the two suspects entered his office and asked about buying a car. Police say when the owner turned around to get water for one of the suspects, he felt a gun pressed to his back.

The female victim said the other suspect then told her to get on the floor with her baby. The woman told officers that the suspects told them someone sent them to the business because that person wanted money.

When the owner told the suspects that they didn't have a safe, the suspects said they knew that there was a safe with money. Police say after the owner told the suspects that they keep their money in a bank account, the suspects took money out of the desk and took the victims' cell phones.

An incident report states one of the suspects said he "didn't have time for this" and told the other suspect to kill the woman and her daughter. The woman said she then told the suspects that they keep the money in the attic inside a toaster, at which time the suspect with the gun went to get the money.

The suspects then asked where the office phone, and took it as well. Authorities say the suspects then left through the front door and told the victims not to call the cops or they would come back.

The victim described the suspects as two black males with one wearing a grey shirt and a grey hat, while the other was wearing glasses.

If you have any information you are asked to call the police at (843) 863-5200 or Crime Stoppers at (843) 554-1111.
