CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston County Government announces lane closures will begin on August 4 for the Bees Ferry widening project.
Construction will be occurring at the intersection of Bees Ferry Road and Glenn McConnell Parkway between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Asphalt work will continue throughout the week in the vicinity of Main Road, Fox Hall Road and Dove Haven Court.
At no time during the construction will both lanes be closed to traffic. Flagmen and signs will be directing traffic during this time.
Paving activities should continue until August 9 as long as weather is permitting.
