GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - Goose Creek police are asking for the public's help identifying a woman wanted for cashing a stolen check earlier this summer.
According to police, the image of the suspect was taken from the Bank of America at 212 St. James Avenue on June 28 around 5:15 p.m.
Investigators say the check, which was cashed for $485, was stolen from a home on Mary Ader Avenue in West Ashley. The victim told police he recently moved and thought the checks may have been stolen from a desk drawer by employees of the moving company he used.
