Coliseum issues parking alert as Joel Osteen prepares to take stage

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

The North Charleston Coliseum has issued a parking alert for the Joel Osteen “A Night of Hope” event on Friday.

A capacity crowd is expected. Attendees are strongly encouraged to carpool and arrive early.

Parking lots will open at 4 p.m. Doors to the Coliseum open at 6:30 p.m.  Osteen is expected to begin speaking at 7:30 p.m.  Before that, he'll stop by the Live 5 News studio for a live interview for Live 5 News at 5. 

Starting at 6 p.m., free parking and shuttles will be available at the North Charleston Fire Museum and Tanger Outlet Mall parking lots.

A limited number of tickets are still available at the Coliseum Advance Ticket Office, Ticketmaster outlets, by phone 1-800-745-3000 or online at Ticketmaster.com.
