COLLETON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The Colleton County Sheriff's Office has arrested three people after investigators found a meth lab in a car in Walterboro.

Investigators charged 36-year-old Shari Legette, 27-year-old Mary Boyd and 29-year-old Jonathan Edwards with manufacturing meth.

On the afternoon of Aug. 15, authorities conducted a traffic stop on a Camaro at the Citgo gas station on 305 Jefferies Blvd.

Authorities say the vehicle was stopped in reference to a "breach of trust" investigation by the sheriff's office.

An incident report states the vehicle contained chemicals and "precursors" for manufacturing meth.

Meth lab technicians from the sheriff's office and the D.E.A. responded to the scene.
