    Pete Ambrose chose to hear the bad news first.Late Monday, the farmer and owner of Ambrose Farms on Wadmalaw Island got wind of a $1092 citation issued by The City of Charleston, for advertising signs he posted on city property.The signs read, U-Pick Strawberries and list a phone number for Ambrose Farms. BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office is investigating after one man died after a shooting early Sundayat a nightclub off Cainhoy Road.

Sheriff's deputies were called out to theshooting around 4 a.m. at a nightclub at 1020 Hamlin Corner Road, called, "A Place in the Woods." 

Whendeputies arrived on the scene they found a severely injured man in the parkinglot of the club.

Officials say the victim was taken to a Mt. Pleasant hospitalwhere he was pronounced dead around 5:30 a.m. Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury identifiedthe victim as 20-year-old Herman Manigault III, of Wando.

The investigation is ongoing.
