GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - Goose Creek Police Department has released photos of a man who they say broke into a dry cleaning business early Sunday morning and made away with cash.

Officers say the burglary occurred at Tommy's Cleaners on St. James Avenue on Sunday, August 25 around 3:30 a.m.

Surveillance video shows the suspect looking through the front windows of the building before breaking a window near the front door of the business with a pipe, according to an incident report.

Officers say the suspect looked around the store for about a minute, stole an undisclosed amount of money from a cash register, and exited through the broken window.

The report says the suspect constantly attempted to cover his face while inside the building, and appeared to be aware of the cameras that were inside.

Police say the suspect is a black male who appears to be in his twenties, weighing between 180 and 200 pounds. He was wearing a white t-shirt, grey pants, black sandals, and a blue knit hat.
