BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Berkeley County School District (BCSD) announced Wednesday enrollment has increased by over 800 students for the second straight year.

These numbers to not include federally funded Head Start program enrollment, which consists of over 500 kids.
"Growth in our schools is consistent with the county's growth along the I-26 corridor," said BCSD superintendent, Dr. Rodney Thomspon. "We are also seeing increased enrollment in some of our traditionally smaller communities such as Cainhoy and Moncks Corner.
