Summerville 28  Cane Bay 0 - Jacerie Ponder scored 2 TD's and USC commit Darin Smalls returned a punt for touchdown in addition to intercepting a pass as the Green Wave move to 1-0 on the year. Sawyer Bridges opened the scoring with a 40 yd TD pass to Donnell Bryan. The Cobras (0-1) offense struggled only picking up a handful of first downs on the night.

Stratford 29, Berkeley, 10 (Live 5 Game of the Week) - Stratford (1-0) beat their county rivals for the third year in a row.  Jacob Park threw three touchdowns, but was also intercepted three times, twice by Diamante Harley.  The Stags are 0-1.

Hanahan 41, Timberland 0 - The Hawks (2-0) ended their 10-game losing streak to the Berkeley County rivals with authority.  Quan Wade ripped off a 90-yard touchdown at the end of the first quarter to get the blowout started.  The Wolves are 1-1.

Goose Creek 56, Ashley Ridge 28 - The Gators (1-0) rolled to a season-opening victory on the road.  Georgia Tech commit Caleb Kinlaw ran for 137 yards and four touchdowns on 20 carries. Evan McField added 105 yards and a touchdown for Goose Creek, and Omar McRae had a 73-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.  The Swamp Foxes are 0-1.

Fort Dorchester 62, Carolina Forest 14 - All Patriots (1-0) all the time.

James Island 40, St. John's 6 - The AAA Trojans (1-1) beat the A Islanders (1-1).

Beaufort 17, Wando 14 - The Warriors (1-1) came up short on the road; the Eagles are 2-0.

West Ashley 28, Bishop England 6 - Anthony LaCosta recovered a fumble in the endzone for a touchdown for the Wildcats (1-0).  The Battling Bishops (a AA program) fell to the AAAA program for the third time in four years.

Woodland 14, Colleton County 12 - The Cougars (0-1) scored the first touchdown of the game, but could hold off the Wolverines (1-0).  Colleton County has now lost 35 games in a row.

Baptist Hill 14, Stall 0 - The Bobcats are 2-0; the Warriors go to 0-1.

Hunter-Kinard-Tyler 64, Burke 0 - Tough start to the season for the Bulldogs (0-1).

Cross 48, C.E. Murray 12 - The Trojans (1-1) fell behind 6-0, then took over after that in their home opener.

Garrett 42, Lincoln 16 - The Falcons (1-0) send the Yellow Jackets (0-2) to their 47th loss in a row, one away from tying the state record.

Military Magnet 28, North Charleston 26 - The Eagles (1-1) edge the Cougars (0-2), who lost a close one for the second week in a row.

Porter-Gaud 41, Ben Lippen 0 - The Cyclones (1-1) got 344 yards passing and three touchdowns from Steven Duncan.

Hilton Head Prep 28, Colleton Prep 7 - The War Hawks (1-1) fall on the road.

Northwood Academy 22, Pinewood Prep 20 - The Chargers (1-0) start the year by edging the Panthers (0-1).

Robert E. Lee Academy 14, Dorchester Academy 13 - The Raiders (0-1) come up short.

Williamsburg Academy 20, Palmetto Christian 14 - The Eagles (1-1) lose on the road.
