WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WPBF/CNN) - Nine migrants are in the custody of U.S. Border Patrol, accused of entering the U.S. illegally through Florida.

All were detained early Thursday morning in Palm Beach County.

Border patrol agents say they came from Jamaica, Haiti and Colombia, and are believed to have been smuggled in on a boat from the Bahamas.

Agents are still searching for that boat.

The incident happened the same day the U.S. Coast Guard detained nine Cuban migrants off the coast of Delray Beach, also in Palm Beach County.
