CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - A woman wanted for a hold-up of prescription pills at a Walgreens pharmacy near Johns Island last Friday has been tied to another robbery earlier this month.
Charleston County Sheriff's Major Jim Brady released three more photos of the suspect Monday. The photos are from a Sept. 3 CVS robbery on Savannah Highway in Ravenel.
In both robberies, investigators say the female suspect handed the pharmacist a note demanding oxycodone. The Walgreens robbery happened around 7:30 p.m., and the CVS robbery happened just before 8 p.m.
During the Walgreens robbery, the suspect wore a white, long-sleeve shirt, black pants, flip-flops, sunglasses and a black baseball type cap. Deputies say the suspect was also wearing blue surgical type gloves.
Surveillance video from the CVS robbery shows the suspect wearing sunglasses, a green and black or blue long-sleeve short, and a black or gray Hurley hat.
Deputies say a getaway driver may have possibly been waiting for the suspect on Old Charleston Road during the Walgreens robbery.
