SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) -

The Summerville Police Department has arrested three people in connection to a strong armed robbery of a jewelry store Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities charged 23-year-old Durell Stephen Williams, 22-year-old Ahmad Malik Cunningham and 23-year-old Timothy Renaldo Graham with strong armed robbery. The three men are from the Charlotte, NC area.

Investigators say the incident happened at Colucci Jewelers on 1209 North Main St at 2:45 p.m. when a suspect grabbed $30,000 worth of jewelry from an employee's hand.

An employee at a nearby store was able to provide police with the suspects' vehicle information and license tag number.

Officers then found the vehicle, the jewelry and the suspects a short distance from the business.
