BEAUFORT COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Authorities say the body of a boater who went missing in Wimbee Creek last week has been recovered.
Beaufort County Sheriff's Office says 50-year-old Carl Mulligan was ejected from a boat on the morning of September 11 after the boat made a hard turn.
Mulligan was boating with a friend at the time he went missing.
A body matching Mulligan's description was recovered just after 12 p.m. Thursday nearly four miles from where he was last seen, according to deputies.
His body was found on the shore where Combahee River meets the St. Helena Sound.
