11-foot gator caught in Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, SC (WCSC) - The alligator hunting season has only just begun, but two South Carolina men have already hauled in an absolute beast.

Greg Morris and Trey Wade hunted down an 11-foot alligator Thursday in Georgetown. A picture of their trophy catch was sent to Live 5 News Friday afternoon.

Alligator hunting season opened up Sept. 14, and ends Oct. 12.
