ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Anderson County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of three people in connection with manufacturing illegal drugs on Monday and they say it is a continuing fight.

Robert Joseph Johnson, 45, and Vickie Lyne Clark, 34, were charged with possession and manufacturing methamphetamines at their Anderson residence, according to officials.

Bobby Joe Johnson, 46, of Anderson, was charged after deputies said he was manufacturing meth in the front yard of his house.

A representative of the Anderson County Sheriff's Office said that these are just two of 20 such cases the Sheriff's Narcotics Investigation Unit has worked this year.

Deputies said several of the cases they investigated were based on tips received from Anderson County citizens.

"We depend on the citizens of Anderson County to assist us in our efforts to reduce illegal drug manufacturing in our community," said Sheriff John Skipper, "we cannot do the job without them."

Deputies ask anyone with information about illegal drug labs in Anderson County to contact the sheriff's office at 864-260-4400.
