THURSDAY

Bishop England 38  North Charleston 0 - Nick Shiver scored 3 touchdowns, 1 receiving, 1 rushing and 1 on an interception return to lead the Battling Bishops (3-2, 2-0 in Region 6-AA) to the win over the Cougars. Shiver caught a 37 yard TD in the first quarter, ran for a 48 yard score in the 2nd then returned an interception 95 yards for a score late in the first half. Reed Fosberry threw 2 TD passes for BE. North Charleston falls to 0-5, 0-2.

Berkeley 31, Timberland 12 (Live 5 Game of the Week) - The Stags (2-3) force five turnovers to win their second straight over their county rivals.  The Wolves are now 3-2.

Goose Creek 35, Dutch Fork 21 - The Gators (5-0) overcame a couple of turnovers in the first half to beat the Silver Foxes in a match-up of two top-five teams in the state.  Goose Creek ran over Dutch Fork with 463 rushing yards; quarterback Dantez Bennamon had 189 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries, while Caleb Kinlaw (120 yards and a TD on 13 carries) and Evan McField (104 yards and a TD on 25 carries) also went over 100 yards on the ground.

Summerville 35, West Ashley 14 - The Green Wave (4-1) hand the Wildcats (4-1) their first loss of the season.

Stratford 43, Colleton County 0 - The Knights (5-0) had no trouble on the road; Cougars drop to 1-4.

Ft. Dorchester 41, Wando 13 - The Patriots (3-2) ended a two-game skid with a convincing win at home over the Warriors (2-4).

Ashley Ridge 27, Cane Bay 20  - The Swamp Foxes (1-4) built a 20-0 lead then held on to win their first game of the year. The Cobras, who trail the all-time series with their cross-town rivals, 3-5, fall to 0-5 on the season.

Beaufort 49, Carolina Forest 35 - The Eagles (5-0) keep winning.

Hilton Head 33, Bluffton 32

Hanahan 56, Wade Hampton 16 - The Hawks (5-0) continue to dominate opponents in 2013.

Andrews 26, Stall 21 - The Warriors (1-4) come up short on the road.

Woodland 62, Academic Magnet 7 - The Wolverines (5-0, 2-0 in Region 6-AA) have no problems with the Raptors (2-3, 0-2).

Garrett 53, Burke 6 - The Falcons (4-1, 1-1) evened their league record with big road win over the Bulldogs (0-5, 0-2).

Midland Valley 35, Baptist Hill 0 - The Bobcats (4-2) have lost two in a row.

St. John's 53, Scott's Branch 13 - Tresvon Coakley returns the opening kickoff of the second half for a touchdown to help the Islanders (2-3) win big.

Cross 29, Lake Marion 27 - The Trojans (2-4) edge the Gators at home.

Lake View 30, Military Magnet 12 - The Falcons (3-3) slip back to .500 on the season.

Branchville 37, Lincoln 6 - The Yellow Jackets are 1-5.

Wilson Hall 49, Porter Gaud 0 - The Cyclones (3-3) are shut out at home.

Augusta Christian 21, Pinewood Prep 6 - The Panthers (0-5) are still looking for their first win of 2013.

Palmetto Christian 46, Colleton Prep 28 - The Eagles (4-1) outscore the War Hawks (2-4) in Walterboro.

Northwood Academy 41, Hilton Head Prep 17 - The Chargers (3-2) light up the Dolphins.

Dorchester Academy 18, Calhoun Academy 12 - The Raiders (2-3) win for the second week in a row.
