2 seriously injured after deer collides with motorcycle

ADAMS RUN, SC (WCSC) - Two people were seriously injured Tuesday night after the motorcycle they were riding collided with a deer in Adams Run, authorities say.

Major Jim Brady, Charleston County Sheriff's Office spokesman, said the incident happened around 7:30 p.m. in the 7200 block of Toogoodoo Road.  A witness told deputies the motorcycle struck a deer, throwing them from the bike.  The deer then apparently ran off.

The two suffered serious injuries and were taken to the Medical University of South Carolina via EMS, Brady said.
