Four men wanted for punching, kicking armed robbery victim

BEAUFORT COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Investigators are on the lookout for four men accused of punching and kicking a man during an attempted armed robbery at a mobile home park in Beaufort County.

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office responded to the Seabrook Mobile Home Park on Martin Lane at 9:15 p.m. on Friday in reference to an assault. The victim told deputies that as he was walking home, four men, one of whom was armed with a gun, approached him.

According to the victim, the suspects demanded money, but when the victim told him he did not have any, the suspects punched him in the face, knocking him to the ground.

Authorities say the suspects continued to punch and kick the victim several times before taking off towards Detour Road.

The sheriff's office says the victim then went to a neighbor's home and called police. An incident report states the victim received minor injuries.

Investigators say they have received information regarding the possible identities of two of the suspects.
