The South Carolina Stingrays and Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Spencer Carbery announced today that the team has agreed to terms with defenseman Jeremy Price. In keeping with club policy, details of the agreement were not disclosed.
Price, 23, enters his first full professional season after completing a four-year collegiate career at Colgate University, totaling 76 points (19 goals, 57 assists) in 149 games. Following his senior season, the Milton, Ontario, native signed an amateur tryout contract with the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League (AHL) and skated in five games, recording one assist. A fourth-round draft pick (113th overall) by the Vancouver Canucks in the 2009 National Hockey League Entry Draft, Price recently attended training camp with the AHL's Hamilton Bulldogs.
