Porter-Gaud 38, Augusta Christian 14 - Steven Duncan threw for 233 yards and two TD passes to Foster Moe (97 yards receiving) and Jeremy Hunt returned a fumble for TD and had an interception in the Cyclones; win. Porter-Gaud moves to 3-5, 3-3 in SCISA AAA with the win.

Hanahan 36, Berkeley 0 (Live 5 Game of the Week) - The Hawks (7-0, 2-0 in Region 8-AAA) put up 27 points in the first quarter and took down their Berkeley County rivals.  Mason Schwerzler threw four touchdowns passes, two each to Terrell Green and Sam Denmark.  The Stags fall to 3-4, 1-1.

Summerville 24, Fort Dorchester 7 - Chad Wood returned a Patriot fumble over 90 yards for a touchdown to help the Green Wave (5-2, 1-0 in Region 8-AAAA) beat their Dorchester County rival for the 14th time in a row.  Fort Dorchester (4-3, 0-1) struggled with turnovers throughout the night.

Ashley Ridge 44, Colleton County 25 - The Swamp Foxes (3-4, 1-0 in Region 8-AAAA) won their third straight game; the Cougars are now 2-5, 0-1.

Beaufort 35, Bluffton 27 - The Eagles (6-1, 1-0 in Region 8-AAAA) won their rivalry game with the Bobcats (4-3, 0-1).

Stratford 42, Cane Bay 7 - Jacob Park ran for 44 yards and three touchdowns and was 17-31 for 148 yards and a touchdown pass to Tyree Scroggins as the Knights (7-0, 1-0 in Region 7-AAAA) opened league play with a convincing road win.  The Cobras are 0-7, 0-1.

Wando 38, West Ashley 32 - The Warriors (3-4, 1-0 in Region 7-AAAA) outlasted the Wildcats (4-3, 0-1), who have lost three in a row.

Goose Creek 56, Carolina Forest 14 - Caleb Kinlaw ran for 137 yards and four touchdowns to help keep the Gators (7-0) undefeated. Tyrek Johnson added 160 yards rushing and two touchdowns on four carries for Goose Creek.


Hilton Head 27, James Island 13 - The Trojans (1-6, 0-2 in Region 8-AAA) came up short on the road despite an early touchdown pass from Ty Stubbs to Andrew Hemley.  The Seahawks are 7-0, 2-0.

Orangeburg-Wilkinson 32, Stall 7 - Jordan Carswell returned the opening kickoff of the game for a touchdown to give the Warriors (1-6, 0-2 in Region 8-AAA) a 7-0 lead, but the Bruins (6-1, 1-1) controlled the rest of the game.

Bishop England 66, Burke 0 - The Battling Bishops (5-2, 4-0 in Region 6-AA) cruised on the road against the Bulldogs (0-7, 0-4)

Woodland 34, Battery Creek 20 - Jari Smith scored three touchdowns as the Wolverines moved to 7-0, 4-0 in Region 6-AA.

Garrett 34, Academic Magnet 22 - The Falcons (5-2, 2-2 in Region 6-AA) got big games from Derrell Roberts (194 yards rushing, two touchdowns) and Jamey Cooper (183 yards rushing, TD); the Raptors are now 2-5, 0-4.

Ridgeland-Hardeeville 33, North Charleston 24 - The Cougars (1-6, 1-3 in Region 6-AA) lost on the road.

Timberland 38, Lake City 14 - The Wolves (5-2, 2-0 in Region 7-AA) didn't have much trouble at Lake City.

St. John's 33, Cross 25 - Darius Clark returned a fumble for touchdown at the end of the first half, helping the Islanders (4-3, 2-0) take sole possession of first place in Region 6-A.  The Trojans fell to 3-5, 1-1.

Baptist Hill 65, Lincoln 6 - Dakota Holmes ran for 311 yards and three touchdowns as the Bobcats (5-3, 1-1 in Region 6-A) ended a three-game skid.  The Yellow Jackets fall to 1-6, 0-1.


SCISA

Heathwood Hall 45, Pinewood Prep 14 - The Panthers (0-7, 0-6 in SCISA AAA) are still looking for their first win of the season.

Northwood Academy 20, Dillon Christian 14 - The Chargers improve to 5-2.

Hilton Head Christian 42, Colleton Prep 21 - The War Hawks (3-5) are doubled up on the road.

Robert Toombs Christian Academy 44, Dorchester Academy 18 - The Raiders fall to 2-5 on the season.
