ROCK HILL, SC (WBTV) -

Police in Rock Hill are looking for a man they say robbed a local business and tied up an employee with zip-ties.

The incident happened Wednesday around 3 p.m. at the PayDay Loans on Cherry Road.

Police say a lone gunman entered the business with a handgun and demanded all the money from the register. The employee complied with the robber's demands and put an undisclosed amount of cash in a backpack.

The gunmen then had the employee kneel down and zip-tied his hands and feet together before leaving to building. The employee was then able to get loose from the ties and call police.

The robber is described as a black male, wearing all black clothing, a black hat, and a black bandana covering his face. He was carrying a black backpack.

Anyone with information about the robber or the incident should call police immediately.
