GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office will join the Drug Enforcement Administration in helping to get prescription drugs off the streets.
Officials will host a Prescription Drug Take-Back on Saturday, October 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Midway Fire and Rescue located at 67 St. Paul's Place, and at the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office on N. Fraser Street.
The purpose of this event is to prevent pill abuse and theft by discarding expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. The service is free and no questions asked.
